Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha, and Prabhu Deva promoting their forthcoming flicks ‘Rowdy Rathore‘. Akshay who is doing an action role in Rowdy Rathore along with Sonakshi and Prabhu Deva join a road show for the promotion of the movie.

Talking to the media person at the event, Akshay said, it was a pleasure working with Prabhu Deva. Akshay, who is thrilled to do an action, was all praise for his director.

Talking about his co-star, Akshay was full of praise for Sonakshi. “Sonakshi is a very simple girl, she works and goes home. She comes on time and goes home. She is very professional. She has never bullied or played pranks on people,” he added.

Both Akshay and Sonakshi wore bright colored clothes. “It’s not only pink but yellow, red all are rowdy. When I got these clothes for the first time, I was shocked but then I got used to it. A lot of people like to wear such clothes. This is just a character and I would love to play it,” Akshay said.

Both Akshay Kumar and his Sonakshi Sinha said that they would love to ride auto-rickshaws on the streets of Mumbai. At a promotional event, the stars were made to travel in a vehicle next to an auto rickshaw race organized by the team.

The action flick ‘Rowdy Rathore‘ is set to release on the 1st of June 2012.

Bollywood, India’s largest film industry is also known as one of the biggest film industry in the world. But do you know who is the most stylish star in Bollywood. According to an online survey conducted by Yahoo! India, Hrithik Roshan tops the list of most stylish Bollywood celebrity.

Hrithik Roshan, Bollywood’s handsome hunk, is the Ultimate Style Icon. He garnered 18% of the votes in the survey which was conducted in April. Coming up a close second was the Indian Skipper MS Dhoni with 16% of the votes. Shah Rukh Khan came in third with 15% votes.

Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan have the highest style quotient amongst celebrity couples, according to 50% of respondents.

Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, with his magnetic personality, wins the power dresser crown by a huge 56% vote majority.

40% survey respondents felt that style and technology go hand in hand for Aamir Khan. Coming up next was Shah Rukh with 14% votes. Among the Bollywood babes 10% voters felt with Priyanka Chopra was tech savvy too.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with 34% votes is a clear winner as the celebrity who dresses best for the red carpet. Deepika Padukone scored with 18% votes in second position. Shahrukh Khan came in third with 16% votes.

Along with her power-packed performances in Kahaani and The Dirty Picture, Vidya Balan also sets the charts ringing with her unique fashion sense, say 32% respondents.

Glamorous Malaika Arora Khan is the most stylish celebrity mother, according to 37% respondents. Twinkle Khanna came in second place.

There is no doubt that Bollywood star Emraan Hashmi has given many successful films at the box office. His last release ‘Murder 2′ was a big hit and the first look and trailer of his forthcoming ‘Shanghai‘ looks quite promising too. Emraan plays a foul-mouthed reporter in this Dibakar Banerjee’s flick.

However, Emraan Hashmi failed to appear for a promotional event with his co-star since he was busy with his shoot for ‘Jannat 2′.

A disappointed Banerjee said, “I was heartbroken that we were not able to kick off the promotions with a trailer launch. We went through a lot trying to coordinate Emraan and Abhay’s dates and then change it all over again.” Shanghai is Banerjee’s release after two years, since his last movie ‘Love, Sex Aur Dhokha’. The movie stars Emraan Hashmi, Abhay Deol and Kalki Koechlin.

Sajid Khan‘s ‘Housefull 2‘ has been raking in all the moolah at the box office. According to reports the movie grossed more than 40 crores in its opening weekend in India. To celebrate the success, the cast of ‘Housefull 2‘ got together at Akshay Kumar‘s Juhu residence. However, it is surprising that John Abraham was not present at the party. The U.S. apologized Friday after one of India’s biggest movie superstars, Shahrukh Khan, was detained at customs again on his way to give a speech at Yale University.

U.S. Embassy spokesman Peter Vrooman apologized “for any inconvenience.”

The Bollywood star was reportedly detained for nearly two hours at the airport in White Plains, New York, after arriving on a private plane from India on Thursday. Other passengers on the flight were cleared without a problem. Khan was allowed to proceed after the Indian Consulate intervened.

Celebrity culture is huge in India, and Shahrukh Khan is among India’s biggest names. In 2009, he was detained at the airport in Newark, N.J., eliciting a similar Indian outcry and U.S. apology. After the latest intervention, New Delhi told India’s ambassador in Washington to take up the matter with the “highest U.S. authorities,” even as U.S. immigration authorities reportedly expressed in a letter their “profound” apologies.

After his release, Khan voiced his displeasure during the Yale fellowship presentation. “Whenever I start feeling too arrogant about myself, I always take a trip to America,” he said. “The immigration guys kicked the star out of stardom.”

The incident set off a torrent of messages on Twitter. “Honestly what’s the big deal??” wrote Omar Abdullah, the top elected official in India’s northern state of Jammu and Kashmir. “This airport detention thing happens all the time & to all sorts of people. Get over it.”

Others, such as Twitter user Marie Gold, saw it differently: “‏Profiling Muslims in the US has become a norm and looks like there is no going back,” she wrote.

Cases of officials and former officials being patted down strip-searched or forced to take off their shoes and belts at security have made big headlines in India, where VIPs generally can avoid security checks.
